We would like to introduce ourselves as a corporate entity with diversified interests ranging from exports to computer hardware. Again, we must begin with the name KARIGAR; when a group of like-minded individuals met in 1993 with the aim of starting an export company, it was a brainwave that prompted one of them to come up with this name. The meaning, resonance and inherent Indianness of the name appealed to all and it was adopted unanimously. What better name for an export organization, which wanted to take India’s fabulous craft traditions to the world at large!

Established in 1993 as KARIGAR EXPORTS LTD, the company made a name for itself in the export of handicrafts and incense to Europe, the United Kingdom and South America. The company made a name for itself for its hand-rolled, high-quality incense with its incredible range of aromas and fragrances. Based in Kolkata, the gateway to not just eastern India but Asia, the factory for incense has a group of dedicated craftsmen who source not just the raw materials for the stick, but also formulate the marvelous fragrances which seem to embody the mystique, heritage and traditions of a glorious past.

A group subsidiary Precision Exim was set up in 2000 for the import of electronic white goods from China. Soon it was felt that it would make good commercial sense to enter the sunrise industry of business process outsourcing (BPO) and a call centre came up in 2003 under the of aegis of Precision Exim. While Karigar Exports Ltd the parent company was involved only in exports and related activities, Precision Exim soon branched out into computer software, hardware, web development and training.
